Wet Seal has several locations in Southern New England, including two in Rhode Island, with one at the Warwick Mall, as well as another at Providence Place.
The teen clothing store said that it is shutting its doors because it failed to find a buyer or capital investment.
There are also multiple locations in Massachusetts, such as the Dartmouth Mall and Auburn Mall.
The chain filed for bankruptcy in December and closed 338 stores.

Wet Seal has 171 stores in 42 states, according to its website.
Wet Seal previously filed for bankruptcy protection in 2015.
But after the teen retailer continued to struggle and saw its sales suffer, people familiar with the matter told the Journal.

Consumerist reports Wet Seal was considering a second filing for bankruptcy protection as it struggled to find investors or a buyer.
Stores that have filed for Chapter 11 in the past two years include The Limited, American Apparel, Pacific Sunwear and Aeropostale.
The teen fashion retailer currently has 171 locations, including five in Upstate New York: Destiny USA in Syracuse, Crossgates Mall in Albany, Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown, and two in Buffalo at the Walden Galleria and the McKinley Mall.
