This new language in Sears’ 10-K claims that management acknowledges that there is “substantial doubt” about the retail conglomerate’s ability to last much longer.
The sad truth, though, is that it’s highly probable that 2017 will be the last year Sears has before filing for bankruptcy protection.
Now, it should be mentioned that, following the market’s reaction, the management team at Sears did release a statement where they touted the company’s recent successes.
