Someone anonymously paid for the signage in an attempt to tell Tesla CEO Elon Musk to “Dump Trump”.
A Clear Channel spokesman declined to comment on the contents of the billboard.
Efforts to reach the ad’s sponsor through Clear Channel Outdoor were unsuccessful.
A billboard with an interesting message appeared near Tesla’s Fremont factory last week.
SiliconValley.com tried unsuccessfully to find the author of the message:“The advertisement carries a disclaimer that the message does not reflect the views of the billboard’s owner, Clear Channel Outdoor.
