Speaking to City A.M. on Tuesday, the German company’s chief regulatory officer, Alexandra Hachmeister, declined to comment on the London Stock Exchange deal.

The European Union’s competition watchdog said Wednesday it was blocking the deal between the London Stock Exchange (LDNXF) and Deutsche Boerse (DBOEF).
