Westland police on Tuesday, March 3, released surveillance video from a Buffalo Wild Wings that captured footage of a man suspected of stealing cash for a food bill and tip from another table.
The theft occurred in a Buffalo Wild Wings at 6677 N. Wayne in Westland.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot, 200-pound man, about 30 years old with a graying beard.
He wore a checkered button- up shirt with blue jeans and left in an older model, tan, four-door Buick, police said.
“Upon watching the video, you can see the subject paying extra attention to money sitting on the table next to him and his female friend,” police said in a statement.

WESTLAND, Mich. – Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a man who stole money from a table at Buffalo Wild Wings in Westland.
The surveillance video shows a man and a woman sitting at a table, keeping an eye on a cash payment and tip on a table next to them.
The man is described as white, about 30 years of age, 6 feet tall, weighs 200 pounds and has a full beard.
He was wearing a checkered shirt with blue jeans and was seen leaving in an older-model, tan, four-door Buick.
The man looks around multiple times before taking the money.
